Angela Ingrassia Moering, MA, BCBA, LBA
Owner and Clinical Director
Hi! My name is Angela Ingrassia Moering, and I am the Owner and Clinical Director of Creative ABA Connections, Inc. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2007 and Master of Arts degree in Exceptional Student Education in 2010, both at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). I was a special education teacher for 10 years and worked closely with my students and their families both at home and at school.
In 2017, I left the classroom to finish my education and training in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2018. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and supported living environments.
I first learned about ACT in 2018 and started using it to work through my own anxiety disorder. I soon learned that there isn’t a quick fix to managing anxiety, but that by changing my mindset towards it I could see it as less of a threat and easier to live with. Using ACT in my daily life hasn’t eliminated my fears and negative feelings, but it has allowed me to see them differently and not let them consume me as they have in the past. As your therapist, I will teach you what I have learned and help you come up with personalized strategies that you can use to help you live the life that you want.
